Hair Transplantation Technique and Its Side-effects!!

It is a surgical method to get rid of baldness which involves moving skin containing hair follicles from one part of the body (donor site) to the bald or balding parts (recipient site) This technique is helpful in treating male pattern baldness in which grafts containing hair follicles (genetically resistant to baldness) are transplanted to bald scalp.

You can also restore your eye lashes, eye brows by using this technique. Hair transplantation is the fast and permanent solution to your hair loss but it is associated with few drawbacks including cost issue and secondary side-effects i.e.

Bleeding: - After the surgery, bleeding is likely to occur. However only minimal bleeding will occur but in few cases it doesn’t stop right away.

Swelling: - Swelling may occur in the area around the forehead and around the eyes.

Numbness: - Numbness may occur for few weeks after the surgery. It may be due to the reduced circulation of blood in the capillaries.

Moreover all the above symptoms and side-effects are temporary and almost all of them will disappear in a few weeks
